The Common Defense is a digital campaign that aims to empower and educate the Youth Vote not only at the polls, but in their efforts to mobilize outside of the voting booth.

There is great wealth of untapped potential within the Youth Vote of the Midwest. Although we've seen an uptick in participation from this demographic in recent years, many of these individuals opt to abstain from the democratic process simply because they feel underprepared or discouraged that their vote doesn't contribute towards progress. The goal of the Common Defense is to overturn this narrative and reinvigorate the Youth Vote.

When it's election year, we're playing offense — actively mobilizing and encouraging the Youth Vote to get to the polls and vote for change. The Common Defense is proposing the narrative that as informed voters, we're always on defense. There are no years off and it's our duty to be informed and stay involved, even when the polls close and seasons of sensationalized politics fizzle.
